Background: Surgery can be considered for selected patients with benign liver tumours (BLT). The aim of this study was to compare symptoms and quality of life (QoL) after conservative and surgical management of BLT.
Methods: In this dual-site cross-sectional retrospective study, adult patients with BLT diagnosed between 2000 and 2019 completed EORTC QLQ-C30 questionnaires on current symptoms and symptoms at diagnosis.

Testudodinium testudo is a peridinin-containing dinoflagellate recently renamed from Amphidinium testudo. While T. testudo has been shown via phylogenetic analysis of small subunit ribosomal RNA genes to reside in a clade separate from the genus Amphidinium, it does possess morphological features similar to Amphidinium sensu stricto.

In particular, whether hippocampus-encoded memories are transferred to the cortex or remain hippocampus-dependent over time has not been definitely answered. New evidence from fMRI studies in humans suggest that while hippocampo-cortical connections lose weight during declarative memory consolidation, the hippocampus - alongside corticocortical connections - stays equally engaged between recent and remote memory recall.

The aim of this study is to (1) evaluate the usage of orthobiologics in the Netherlands, (2) to clarify the reasons for the use or non-use of orthobiologics, and (3) the most addressed disease for use of orthobiologics.
Methods: The authors created a 19-quenstion online survey comprised of both closed-ended and open-ended response questions in order to examine the use of and the indication for orthobiologics.
