Purpose To radiographically characterise dental disease burden and related characteristics of referred patients awaiting cardiovalvular surgery (CVS) in the context of infective endocarditis (IE) risk.Methods Radiographic evidence of dental disease levels was assessed for patients referred for dental assessment pre-CVS using available orthopantomographs (OPTs) prescribed by the cardiology team. Issue Addressed: The oral glucose tolerance test is the 'gold standard' for detecting gestational diabetes in Australian and International guidelines. Test completion in regional, rural and remote regions may be as low as 50%. Purpose: Explore community-based gym exercise for non-ambulant adults with childhood-onset disability.

Materials And Methods: Non-ambulant adults with childhood-onset disability participated in four, weekly gym sessions co-facilitated by physiotherapists and exercise professionals. Practicalities of participating in the sessions were recorded uptake and attrition, weekly surveys, and focus groups.

Introduction: Despite various studies on the impact of incontinence on patients' lives, the existing literature has not investigated the contribution of nursing care during rehabilitation in terms of quality of life. Fewer data, therefore, exist on the characteristics and perceived impact of the therapeutic relationship as part of the rehabilitation program.

Aims: To investigate the characteristics of the nurse-patient therapeutic relationship and its impact throughout the rehabilitation program; to describe the levels of patient burden on everyday activities.
