It has been estimated that Nonsteroidal Anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) Exacerbated Respiratory Disease (N-ERD) previously named as Aspirin Exacerbated Respiratory Disease (A-ERD) affects around 1.4 million persons in the United States. Its prevalence in asthmatic patients has widely been underestimated, as a considerable number of patients would need an aspirin provocation test to confirm the diagnosis.

Laryngotracheal Stenosis Secondary to Mantle Cell Lymphoma.

Acute laryngeal dyspnea is a life-threatening emergency often attributed to laryngeal tumors or inflammatory edema in adults. Primary laryngeal lymphomas are especially infrequent. As an aggressive subtype of B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL), mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) cases are particularly complex.

Recent Findings: Advancements in endonasal endoscopic approaches to the sinuses and skull base allow for direct treatment of a variety of sinonasal and skull base diseases. However, these extended approaches will often require manipulation of normal anatomical structures and the olfactory neuroepithelium.
