Agriculture 4.0 technologies continue to see low adoption among small and medium-sized farmers, primarily because these solutions often fail to account for the specific challenges of rural areas. In this work, we propose and implement a design methodology to develop a Precision Agriculture solution aimed at assisting farmers in managing water stress in Hass avocado crops.

Background: Invasive meningococcal disease (IMD) is a life-threatening disease, primarily affecting infants and children. Argentina introduced routine meningococcal vaccination in infants and adolescents in 2017, with MenACWY vaccination targeting serogroups A, C, W, and Y (current National Immunization Program [cNIP]). Serogroup B, more prevalent since 2015, became predominant in children.

Background: Congenital early onset scoliosis (C-EOS) often co-occurs with tethered spinal cord syndrome (TSCS), necessitating surgical intervention to address both conditions to prevent worsening neuromuscular function. Detethering can be done concurrently with spinal deformity correction (SDC), before SDC, or not done at all.
