The Engraft Learning Health Network (LHN) aims to improve outcomes for patients undergoing transplant and cellular therapy (TCT) through a collaborative, data-driven approach. Engraft brings together diverse stakeholders, including clinicians, patients, caregivers, and institutions, to standardize best practices and accelerate the dissemination of innovations in TCT care. By establishing a multicenter, real-world clinical registry focused on rapid-cycle quality improvement (QI) and implementation research, Engraft seeks to reduce variability in clinical practice to improve TCT outcomes across centers.

Persistence of mutated NPM1 or FLT3-ITD in the blood of adult patients with AML in first complete remission (CR1) prior to allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplant (alloHCT) associates with increased relapse and death after transplant. The prognostic implications of persistence of other common AML-associated mutations, such as IDH1, at this treatment landmark however remain incompletely defined.

This analysis studied accrual on Blood and Marrow Transplant Clinical Trials Network (BMT CTN) trials conducted in 2014 to 2020 by race/ethnicity, age, and sex, comparing these characteristics with those of potentially eligible patients identified from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) and Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR) databases for the disease, age, and years of interest of BMT CTN studies. Five BMT CTN trials met the inclusion criteria, including 1 autologous HCT trial and 4 allogeneic HCT trials.
