Aberrant autophagy in vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) is associated with the progression of vascular remodeling diseases caused by neointimal hyperplasia. Platelet-derived growth factor-BB (PDGF-BB)-induced vascular remodeling is accompanied by autophagy activation, however, the involvement of circular RNAs (circRNAs) remains unclear. Here, we show the role of PDGF-BB-regulated hsa_circ_0001304 (circ-1304) in neointimal hyperplasia and its potential involvement in VSMC autophagy, while also elucidating the potential mechanisms.

Introduction: The infrapatellar fat pad and synovium are the sites of immune cell infiltration and the origin of proinflammation. Studies have shown that Hoffa's synovitis may be a sign of early-stage osteoarthritis (OA). However, there have been no effective interventions specifically for Hoffa's synovitis.

Background: The current NCCN guidelines advocate for the use of adjuvant radiotherapy (RT) or chemoradiotherapy (CRT) in pT3N0 oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma (OCSCC). Here, we sought to evaluate whether postoperative RT/CRT may confer a survival advantage in pT3N0 patients who lack adverse pathological features.

Study Design: This was a secondary analysis of data derived from a prospective cohort study for sPTB screening in singleton pregnancies at 11 + 0-13 + 6 weeks in women attending routine Down's syndrome screening at Prince of Wales Hospital, Hong Kong SAR, between June 2018 and July 2020.
