Awareness of medical adhesive-related skin injury (MARSI) has increased in the decade since a foundational consensus report was published in 2013. Additional research has provided greater knowledge of the epidemiology of MARSI, along with its assessment, prevention, and management. To summarize knowledge generated in the past decade and review our current understanding of MARSI, a panel of nine clinical experts from four countries (United States of America, United Kingdom, Canada, and Brazil) convened to discuss the literature published since the initial 2013 document and develop updated recommendations for clinical practice.

Effectively communicating the risks, benefits, burdens, costs, and available support associated with these novel disease-modifying treatments to patients, families, and other healthcare providers is essential but complex. In response, the Alzheimer's Association's Clinical Meaningfulness Workgroup has proposed language surrounding treatment eligibility, benefits, amyloid-related imaging abnormalities (ARIA), apolipoprotein E (APOE) genotyping, and treatment costs, serving as a resource to healthcare professionals in navigating discussions with patients and their families.

Evolutionary expansion means that domain families are often represented by many members in a species, which are found in various configurations with other domains, which have evolved new specificity for interacting partners. Here, we develop a structure-based interface analysis to comprehensively map domain interfaces from available experimental and predicted structures, including interfaces with other macromolecules and intraprotein interfaces (such as might exist between domains in a protein).

The goals of this special issue are to (a) provide conceptual, theoretical, and practical recommendations for increasing the use and quality of mixed methods research in school psychology and (b) feature studies that use a range of mixed methods designs and analyses. In this introduction, we assert that implementing high-quality mixed methods research can help our field solve urgent, complex problems in schools, yet mixed methods research remains underutilized.
