Leukemic infiltration of the myocardium is an extremely rare complication and requires high clinical suspicion, as <5% pf patients are symptomatic. Commonly encountered cardiovascular complications are secondary to anemia, infections, and chemotherapy. We present an unusual case of biopsy-proven myocardial B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) in an elderly male on chronic maintenance therapy with lenalidomide, with a previous history of multiple myeloma (MM) and subsequent ALL.

Objective: Two surveys were conducted with patients with rheumatologic diseases to evaluate perceptions of different routes of administration (intravenous [IV] or subcutaneous [SC]) for biologic therapy.
Methods: In Survey I, patient preferences toward biologic treatment were evaluated at a rheumatology practice in Buffalo, New York. In Survey II, Canadian patients enrolled in the BioAdvance patient support program and scheduled to receive IV biologic therapy were asked about their opinions of IV treatment.
Background: The introduction of noninvasive follicular thyroid neoplasm with papillary-like nuclear features (NIFTP) affects the risk of malignancy (ROM) mostly in the Bethesda System for Reporting Thyroid Cytopathology (TBSRTC) categories. In this multi-institutional, retrospective study, the authors investigated variations in the impact of an NIFTP diagnosis on the associated ROM for each TBSRTC category with an emphasis on the influence of pathologist and institutional diagnostic thresholds on the ROM.
Methods: Baseline data on cytology and histology diagnostic categories were collected over a 3-year period at 3 academic center hospitals (institutions A, B, and C).
Background: Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) typically leads to effacement of the nodal architecture by an infiltrate of malignant cells. Rarely (<1%), DLBCL can present with an interfollicular pattern (DLBCL-IF) preserving the lymphoid follicles. It has been postulated that DLBCL-IF is derived from marginal zone B cells and may represent a large-cell transformation of marginal zone lymphoma (MZL), however no direct evidence has been provided to date.
