A series of flexible polyacrylonitrile/TiO (PAN/P25) multi-porous nanotubular membranes were successfully constructed by facile electrospinning combined with an ethylene glycol solvothermal induce strategy. The effects of P25 dosage and solvothermal time on the morphology of samples were systematically investigated, which were characterized in terms of surface morphology, microstructure, specific surface area, thermal analysis, wettability, photoelectrochemical and fluorescence spectra. Rhodamine B (RhB) and () were employed as simulated pollutants to evaluate photocatalytic degradation and antibacterial properties of the PAN/P25-3 multi-porous nanotubular membrane.

Ta/Re layered composite material is a high-temperature material composed of the refractory metal tantalum (Ta) as the matrix and high-melting-point, high-strength rhenium (Re) as the reinforcement layer. It holds significant potential for application in aerospace engine nozzles. Developing the Ta/Re potential function is crucial for understanding the diffusion behavior at the Ta/Re interface and elucidating the high-temperature strengthening and toughening mechanism of Ta/Re layered composites.

Silicon oxycarbide (SiOC), Ca- and Mg-modified silicon oxycarbide (SiCaOC and SiMgOC) were synthesized via sol-gel processing with subsequent pyrolysis in an inert gas atmosphere. The physicochemical structures of the materials were characterized by XRD, SEM, FTIR, and Si MAS NMR. Biocompatibility and in vitro bioactivity were detected by MTT, cell adhesion assay, and simulated body fluid (SBF) immersion test.

Aluminum (Al) toxicity in acidic soils poses significant challenges to crop growth and development. However, the response mechanism of Shatian pomelo ( 'Shatian Yu') roots to Al toxicity remains poorly understood. This study employed root phenotype analysis, physiological response index measurement, root transcriptome analysis, and quantitative PCR (qPCR) validation to investigate the effects of Al toxicity on Shatian pomelo roots.
