Introduction: Green tea is a medicinal beverage extracted from the plant Camellia sinensis. Antioxidants that exist naturally can be extracted as pure compounds from their parent materials for nutraceutical and medicinal applications. The present study aims to assess the antioxidant activity of Zinc oxide-titanium dioxide nano-composites (ZnO-TiO2 NCs) containing green tea extract.

Chorionic trophoblast cells (CTCs) are one of the principal components of the fetal membrane and join with the decidua to form a feto-maternal interface. Recent success in isolating CTCs dealt with two separate questions: (1) The necessity of highly enriched and defined media with inhibitors of oxidative stress and cell transition and their impact on growth and trophoblast phenotype, (2) The functional differences between CTCs and other placental trophoblast lineages of cells (placental cytotrophoblast cells [PTC], and extravillous trophoblast [EVT]). CTCs were cultured either in defined media with various inhibitors or in media from which inhibitors were removed individually.

Frequent contacts between wild rodents and livestock favour pathogen transfer and it is therefore important to understand the movement patterns of small mammals in order to develop strategies to prevent damage and health issues.

Introduction: A subset of undifferentiated vertigo cases can be attributed to dangerous central causes such as posterior circulation ischemic stroke (PCIS) or transient ischemic attack (TIA). Due to a lack of validated clinical risk scoring tools, there is currently high heterogeneity in emergency department (ED) neuroimaging practices for patients presenting with undifferentiated vertigo. Therefore, this study assessed the utility of head and neck CT with angiography (CTA) for risk stratifying ED patients presenting with vertigo.
