Oral premalignant disorders (OPMDs) are a group of potentially malignant conditions that pose a significant health burden globally. MicroRNAs (miRNAs), small non-coding RNA molecules, have emerged as crucial regulators of gene expression and have been implicated in various biological processes, including carcinogenesis. This review synthesizes existing knowledge to provide a comprehensive understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying OPMDs and to highlight the potential of miRNAs as promising biomarkers and therapeutic targets.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate the color stability of two composite resins after exposure to beverages such as Cola, Pepsi, Red Bull, and distilled water after 15 days.

Materials And Methods: The color stability of a microhybrid and nanohybrid composite was evaluated after storage in distilled water, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, and Red Bull for 15 days. Color measurement was done using a reflectance spectrophotometer based on the CIE L*a*b* color scale.

The immune system encodes information about the severity of a pathogenic threat in the quantity and type of memory cells it forms. This encoding emerges from lymphocyte decisions to maintain or lose self-renewal and memory potential during a challenge. By tracking CD8 T cells at the single-cell and clonal lineage level using time-resolved transcriptomics, quantitative live imaging, and an acute infection model, we find that T cells will maintain or lose memory potential early after antigen recognition.

Diabetes mellitus is a group of metabolic disorders that has risen to become the third most common cause in humans in recent years. The development of new bioactive substances from natural sources is a relatively new area. Flavonoids are believed to have a variety of beneficial properties in nature, including anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, anticancer, antioxidant, neuroprotective, and anti-HIV properties.

The true potential of the microalgae-based wastewater treatment (MWT) process is determined based on whether the process will provide a positive energy output and whether it is economically viable. The objectives of this study are dynamic modelling of microalgae growth based on initial wastewater concentration, temperature, solar radiation and a techno-economic assessment for an MWT scheme for application in a hot, dry climate. Through reference to relevant literature data on MWT in the Indian subcontinent, a selection of appropriate microalgal species Chlorella and Scenedesmus was made.
