The American: Academy of Pediatrics advocates for a preventive approach to children's mental health (MH) care and pediatric primary care providers (PCPs) are in a unique position to promote the emotional health of their patients, integrate systems for screening and assessment of MH conditions and provide MH intervention and ongoing clinical follow-up. Integration of a behavioral health service into pediatric primary care has the potential to increase the clinical confidence and MH competency of PCPs and improve patient health outcomes through increased access to and delivery of quality MH care in the primary care setting.

Method: This article describes the step-by-step process of developing and implementing a custom integrated behavioral health (IBH) program into two different academic pediatric primary care clinics located in New York, NY and Chicago, IL.

In humans, misprocessed mRNAs containing intact 5' Splice Site (5'SS) motifs are nuclear retained and targeted for decay by ZFC3H1, a component of the Poly(A) Exosome Targeting complex, and U1-70K, a component of the U1 snRNP. In , the ZFC3H1 homolog, Red1, binds to the YTH domain-containing protein Mmi1 and targets certain RNA transcripts to nuclear foci for nuclear retention and decay. Here we show that YTHDC1 and YTHDC2, two YTH domain-containing proteins that bind to -6-methyladenosine (m6A) modified RNAs, interact with ZFC3H1 and U1-70K, and are required for the nuclear retention of mRNAs with intact 5'SS motifs.

The identification of individual protein-protein interactions (PPIs) began more than 40 years ago, using protein affinity chromatography and antibody co-immunoprecipitation. As new technologies emerged, analysis of PPIs increased to a genome-wide scale with the introduction of intracellular tagging methods, affinity purification (AP) followed by mass spectrometry (MS), and co-fractionation MS (CF-MS). Now, combining the resulting catalogs of interactions with complementary methods, including crosslinking MS (XL-MS) and cryogenic electron microscopy (cryo-EM), helps distinguish direct interactions from indirect ones within the same or between different protein complexes.

Cys2-His2 zinc-finger proteins (C2H2-ZNFs) constitute the largest class of DNA-binding transcription factors (TFs) yet remain largely uncharacterized. Although certain family members, e.g.
