Competitive athletes report symptoms of depression and anxiety at rates similar to or higher than the general population. There is some initial evidence that difficulties in emotion regulation are positively associated with depression, anxiety, and stress among university student-athletes; however, research on emotion dysregulation in sport contexts is limited. Therefore, the purpose of the current study was to examine the associations between emotion dysregulation, sport performance concerns, and symptoms of depression and anxiety among competitive athletes.

Molnupiravir is an antiviral medicine that induces lethal copying errors during SARS-CoV-2 RNA replication. Molnupiravir reduced hospitalization in one pivotal trial by 50% and had variable effects on reducing viral RNA levels in three separate trials. We used mathematical models to simulate these trials and closely recapitulated their virologic outcomes.

Networks of support: Microboards for children with intellectual disability.

Friendships are an important aspect of social inclusion and can have a positive influence on a child's social and emotional wellbeing beyond childhood. A Microboard is a formal approach to building supportive relationships for people with intellectual disability. Establishing a Microboard during childhood may facilitate a peer support network that endures into adulthood.

Engaging With a Community of Practice in Dementia: Impacts on Skills, Knowledge, Networks and Accessing Support.

Background: To deliver implementable, meaningful research and advance knowledge, different stakeholders need to be brought together regularly via a suitable platform or community of practice. The Liverpool Dementia & Ageing Research Forum, set up in 2019, is a public/professional community of practice, providing in-person and remote events and activities to connect people living with dementia, unpaid carers, health and social care professionals, Third Sector representatives and commissioners. The aim of this study was to qualitatively explore the experiences and impacts of engaging with Forum events by different stakeholders.
