Purpose: To compare the results in terms of visual acuity and complication rates between eyes undergoing Descemet's membrane endothelial keratoplasty (DMEK) with the help or not of intraoperative optical coherence tomography (iOCT).
Methods: Non-randomized retrospective comparative study including 288 eyes of 227 patients (age, 30 to 90 years) undergoing DMEK surgery with the use of iOCT (OPMI Lumera 700 surgical microscope, Carl Zeiss Meditec, Jena, Germany) (135 eyes, iOCT group) and without it (153 eyes, non-iOCT group. Corrected distance visual acuity (CDVA) and complication rates were evaluated during a 24-month follow-up.
Plants cope with the environment by displaying large phenotypic variation. Two spectra of global plant form and function have been identified: a size spectrum from small to tall species with increasing stem tissue density, leaf size, and seed mass; a leaf economics spectrum reflecting slow to fast returns on investments in leaf nutrients and carbon. When species assemble to communities it is assumed that these spectra are filtered by the environment to produce community level functional composition.

While trauma remains a leading cause of death and disability worldwide, surgical residents experience reduced trauma operative volumes during training. This paper highlights an important innovation for improvement of trauma surgery training: use of camera systems to record high fidelity video footage of open trauma cases.

We assessed the outcomes and safety of EVT in patients with isolated c-ICA-O.
Methods: Retrospective multicenter cohort study of patients with an AIS due to isolated c-ICA-O, within 24-h since last-seen-well.
Background: Attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD) is a leading mental disorder among adolescents globally and is associated with premature mortality. Knowing the trends and key determinants of ADHD in youth are critical for earlier diagnosis and interventions.
Methods: We retrospectively examined all hospitalizations in patients aged 11 to 18 years with ADHD in Spain, using data from the Spanish National Registry of Hospital Discharges spanning 2000 to 2021.
