In this study, DL-phenylalanine modified with a multiwall carbon nanotube paste electrode is used as advanced electrochemical sensor for analysing of 0.1 mM caffeic acid (CFA) with simultaneous detection of riboflavin (RFN). The developed sensors include electrochemically polymerized DL-phenylalanine (DL-PA) modified multiwall carbon nanotube paste electrode [DL-PAMMCNTPE] and bare multiwall carbon nanotube paste electrode [BMCNTPE].

In recent years, carbon quantum dots (CQDs) have garnered considerable attention as a promising material for biomedical applications because of their unique optical and biological properties. In this study, an electro-polymerized valine (VLN) stimulated carbon paste electrode (CPE) was used to create a straightforward, inexpensive, and renewable electrochemical sensor for accurate and selective indigotin (IGN) determination. Comparing the CPE, to the modified electrode, it exhibits excellent sensibility for the IGN oxidation-reduction reaction. Multiple techniques, including cyclic voltammetry (CV), differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were utilized in this case to characterize the electrode materials.

Garden cress seeds produces mucilage that has found various food applications, however, there is little information on the free oligosaccharides (FOS) contents in these seeds. Herein, we explored the presence of FOS in cress seed aqueous exudate. PGC-LC MS/MS analysis indicated the presence of mainly hexose containing oligosaccharides such as raffinose, stachyose and verbascose belonging to raffinose family of oligosaccharides (RFOs).
