Background: Stigma of mental health conditions hinders recovery and well-being. The Honest, Open, Proud (HOP) program shows promise in reducing stigma but there is uncertainty about the feasibility of a randomized trial to evaluate a peer-delivered, individual adaptation of HOP for psychosis (Let's Talk).

Methods: A multi-site, Prospective Randomized Open Blinded Evaluation (PROBE) design, feasibility randomised controlled trial (RCT) comparing the peer-delivered intervention (Let's Talk) to treatment as usual (TAU).

National Park Service units in the United States play a large role in providing habitat for native pollinators. In parks that are established to preserve cultural landscapes, park managers recognize an opportunity to improve pollinator habitat while maintaining historically accurate conditions. In this study, we document floral resources and native bees within managed park grasslands, with the goal of providing information to managers to help them maximize pollinator habitat while meeting other management objectives.

Pharmacogenomic variation and sedation outcomes during early intensive care unit admission: A pragmatic study.

Unpredicted responses to sedatives and analgesics are common in critically ill patients on mechanical ventilation (MV) and may be attributed to genetic variation. Our primary aim was to investigate the association between the pharmacogenomic (PGx) variation and sedation outcomes. The secondary aim was to capture intensive care unit (ICU) participants' perceptions of PGx.

Effect of COVID-19 on pediatric gunshot wounds to the head at a level 1 trauma center.

Background: The United States (US) has one of the highest rates of gunshot-related incidents in the world. Gunshot wounds to the head (GSWH) in the pediatric population are also common, with high morbidity and mortality rates.

Methods: We performed a retrospective study to analyze if there was a notable change in trends in pediatric GSWH at our Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
