Pedagogical strategies for supporting learning and student well-being in environmentally sustainable healthcare.

Planetary health education needs fresh approaches to engage learners and educators in positive visions and future planning to navigate the societal challenges of climate change. The human health impacts of the climate crisis, environmental degradation and pollution are far-reaching and compounding in nature. International leaders in healthcare are recognizing the time-pressured opportunity to mobilize and motivate colleagues to optimize health outcomes by addressing these issues.

Search for an antiferromagnetic Weyl semimetal in (MnTe)(SbTe)and (MnTe)(BiTe)superlattices.

The interaction between topology and magnetism can lead to novel topological materials including Chern insulators, axion insulators, and Dirac and Weyl semimetals. In this work, a family of van der Waals layered materials using MnTe and SbTeor BiTesuperlattices as building blocks are systematically examined in a search for antiferromagnetic Weyl semimetals, preferably with a simple node structure. The approach is based on controlling the strength of the exchange interaction as a function of layer composition to induce the phase transition between the topological and the normal insulators.

A smartphone lens attachment improves the quality of referrals to eye casualty.

Background/objectives: In recent years, eye casualty clinics have seen significant increases in patient numbers with reduced capacity. COVID-19 has exacerbated this issue and demonstrated the potential of telemedicine as a solution. Our study evaluated the potential benefit of a smartphone-based lens attachment to improve the referral pathway for anterior segment related complaints in eye casualty.
