Introduction: Gastrointestinal (GI) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) enables simultaneous assessment of gastric peristalsis, emptying, and intestinal filling and transit. However, GI MRI in animals typically requires anesthesia, which complicates physiology and confounds interpretation and translation to humans. This study aimed to establish GI MRI in conscious rats, and for the first time, characterize GI motor functions in awake versus anesthetized conditions.

However, some studies have indicated that relaxin-3 and RXFP3 are also expressed in peripheral organs, including the gut. In this study, we characterised the identity of RXFP3-expressing cells in the gastrointestinal tract, using RXFP3-Cre/tdTomato reporter mice.

However, tourniquets required specialised training and equipment, which may not be accessible in all emergencies. This systematic review evaluated the effectiveness of arterial pressure point techniques (APPT) as a first aid measure for controlling life-threatening, non-compressible bleeding from limbs and anatomical junctions.

Many such approximations are developed from models of the XC hole; accurate reference XC holes for real electronic systems are crucial for evaluating the accuracy of these models however the availability of reliable reference data is limited to a few systems. In this study, we employ the Lieb optimization with a coupled cluster singles and doubles (CCSD) reference to construct accurate coupling-constant averaged XC holes, resolved into individual exchange and correlation components, for five spherically symmetric atoms: He, Li, Be, N, and Ne.
