In schema therapy early adaptive schemas (EASs) and early maladaptive schemas (EMSs) have been found to be independent but related constructs. The Young Positive Schema Questionnaire (YPSQ) was developed and validated in English to measure EASs. The present study investigated psychometric properties of the Dutch translation in a representative sample of 650 non-clinical Dutch individuals.

Ellagic Acid from and Antimalarial Activity of Korean Medicinal Plants.

This study investigates the antimalarial potential of extracts and compounds from various plants used in traditional Korean medicine, in response to the increasing resistance of to standard treatments such as chloroquine and artemisinin. The antimalarial activity screening was conducted on 151 extracts, identifying the top seven candidates, including (50% ethanol and 100% methanol extract), , (hot water and 50% ethanol extract), , and . Among these, was identified as the top priority for further analysis due to its high antimalarial activity and high yield of bioactive compounds.

Background: Li-Fraumeni syndrome (LFS) predisposes individuals to a wide range of cancers from childhood onwards, underscoring the crucial need for accurate interpretation of germline variants for optimal clinical management of patients and families. Several unclassified variants, particularly those potentially affecting splicing, require specialised testing. One such example is the NM_000546.

Identifying Sequence Effects on Chain Dimensions of Disordered Proteins by Integrating Experiments and Simulations.

It has become increasingly evident that the conformational distributions of intrinsically disordered proteins or regions are strongly dependent on their amino acid compositions and sequence. To facilitate a systematic investigation of these sequence-ensemble relationships, we selected a set of 16 naturally occurring intrinsically disordered regions of identical length but with large differences in amino acid composition, hydrophobicity, and charge patterning. We probed their conformational ensembles with single-molecule Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET), complemented by circular dichroism (CD) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy as well as small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS).

COMPARISON OF VARIOUS PSYCHOLOGICAL HUMAN NEED MODELS WITH SCHEMA THERAPY.
