Laparoscopic Nissen-Rossetti fundoplication is now recognized as a valid therapy for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease. This retrospective study evaluates the effects of laparoscopic fundoplication on esophageal motility and correlates these effects to postsurgical symptoms.
