Case Report: A 70-year-old polymorbid female patient in chronic dialysis program underwent argon plasma coagulation treatment of leaking angioectasias in the cecum and ascending colon. Shortly after the procedure she presented with shortness of breath and subcutaneous emphysema of the neck which was initially misdiagnosed as swelling.

A Young Adult with White Matter Changes and Recurrent Stroke Symptoms.

White matter changes on MRI can be a diagnostic puzzle as a large group of inflammatory, autoimmune, infectious, and neoplastic conditions can present in this way. An otherwise healthy 36-year-old male presented with his second episode of unilateral weakness, the first episode occurring five years previously. He did not have sensory or cerebellar symptoms with the current or previous episode.

Background: Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is the fourth leading cause of cancer mortality in the US. Recent studies have demonstrated survival benefits for FOLFIRINOX (5-FU, leucovorin, irinotecan, and oxaliplatin) and Gem/nab-P (gemcitabine/nab-paclitaxel) over gemcitabine. We aimed to evaluate the clinical outcomes of mPDAC before and after incorporating these newer regimens into the clinical practice.

Postpneumonectomy MRSA empyema treated with vacuum therapy - case report and literature review.

Introduction: Postpneumonectomy empyema is one of serious complications with high mortality and lethality. In this paper, the authors describe the treatment of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus-induced postpneumonectomy empyema by vacuum therapy in a patient operated on for malignant pleural mesothelioma.

Case Report: A 64-year-old patient was operated on at our clinic for epithelioid mesothelioma of the right pleural cavity.
