Background: Anterior shoulder instability is a common pathology seen especially in young men and highly active patient populations. Subluxation is a commonly encountered clinical issue, yet little is known about the effects of first-time subluxation compared with dislocation on shoulder stability and clinical outcomes after surgical stabilization.
Purpose: To compare revision and redislocation rates as well as patient-reported outcomes (PROs) between subluxators and dislocators after a first-time anterior shoulder instability event.
Introduction: The aims of this study were to determine (1) whether endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) inhibition stimulates endothelial microvesicles (EMVs) release and (2) the effect of EMVs derived from eNOS-inhibited cells on endothelial cell eNOS, inflammation, apoptosis, and tissue-type plasminogen activator (t-PA).
Methods: Human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) were treated with the eNOS inhibitor (NG-nitro-

Background: Dry eye disease (DED) is commonly caused by excessive tear film evaporation due to Meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD). There is a need for DED treatment options that address tear evaporation and benefit patients across a broad range of demographic and disease characteristics. This study evaluated treatment effects of perfluorohexyloctane ophthalmic drop (formerly NOV03) in the pooled dataset from 2 pivotal clinical trials in patients with DED associated with MGD, both in the overall population and in patient subgroups based on sex, age, and baseline severity of eye dryness.

While clinically important outcome values (CIOVs) have been developed to allow clinical interpretation of PRO values, gaps in outcome metrics still remain. The CIOVs can be used to describe specific populations of interest, such as in patients with hip dysplasia undergoing combined hip arthroscopy and periacetabular osteotomy.
