Robot-assisted Kidney Transplantation in Patients Undergoing Cystectomy with Urinary Diversion: First Cases Reported by the ERUS-RAKT Working Group.

The indication for kidney transplantation over a urinary diversion (UD) for patients with severe lower urinary tract dysfunction and end-stage renal disease is a controversial issue. Thanks to advances in robot-assisted kidney transplant (RAKT) programs, the boundaries are being pushed further. We present the first RAKT series reported for patients undergoing simple cystectomy and UD for benign bladder disease.

Preliminary results of the implementation of robotic radical prostatectomy in a major ambulatory surgery regimen.

Objective: To report our initial experience with robotic radical prostatectomy as an outpatient procedure.

Material And Methods: Retrospective analysis of patients who underwent RRP as MAS (Major Ambulatory Surgery) at our center between March 2021 and May 2022. We collected baseline patient characteristics, intraoperative outcomes and postoperative data (need for unplanned medical care and complications at one month after surgery).

Darolutamide in Spanish patients with nonmetastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer: ARAMIS subgroup analysis.

Darolutamide significantly prolonged metastasis-free survival (MFS) versus placebo in the Phase III ARAMIS study. We analyzed outcomes in Spanish participants in ARAMIS. Patients with high-risk nonmetastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer were randomized 2:1 to darolutamide 600 mg twice daily or placebo, plus androgen-deprivation therapy.

Objective: To describe the initial experiencein our center on targeted prostate biopsies (TB) using Magnetic Resonance imaging/ultrasonography (MRI/US) fusion and to compare PCa detection with systematic biopsies (SB).

Patients And Me Thods: A retrospective, descriptive and comparative study was conducted on the first 94 men who underwent TB using MRU/US fusion in our center since February 2017 to March 2018. All patients underwent a protocol of 6-12 cores of systematic biopsies (SB) (except 9) and 2-6 targeted coreson the MRI index lesion.
