When students use metacognition, they can more effectively problem solve on their own and in groups. Most metacognition studies have focused on individual learners while a few studies have begun to explore the metacognition learners use in social settings. Little is known about the comparison between how an individual student may use metacognition in solitary and collaborative contexts.

In December of 2022, a free-ranging American alligator was found stuporous and tetraparetic. On postmortem evaluation, lesions were limited to the central nervous system, consisting of prominent perivascular cuffs of lymphocytes and histiocytes that extended into the surrounding neuroparenchyma along with gliosis.

In this work, the EOM-CC method for ionized states, known as EOM-IP-CC, is applied to the closely lying and coupled pair of states of the ozone cation─ and ─using highly accurate treatments including up to the full single, double, triple, and quadruple excitations (EOM-IP-CCSDTQ). Combined with a venerable and powerful method for calculating vibronic spectra from the Hamiltonian produced by EOM-IP-CC calculations, the simulations yield a spectrum that is in good agreement with the photoelectron spectrum of ozone.

Two dissociation pathways of ethoxy, including the β-C-C scission to yield CH + CHO and the H-elimination to make H + CHCHO, were characterized using a high-level coupled-cluster-based composite quantum chemical method (mHEAT-345(Q)). The former route is found to be dominant while the latter is insignificant, in agreement with previous experimental and theoretical studies.

We previously reported development of cynomolgus lymphocryptovirus (CyLCV)-associated PTLD in Mauritian cynomolgus macaques (MCMs) undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), which mirrored EBV-PTLD in transplant patients. Here, we sought to develop a MCM model of lymphocryptovirus-associated lymphoproliferative disease in immunosuppressed MCMs without HSCT.
