Purpose: Infective endocarditis (IE) can be complicated by vertebral osteomyelitis (VO). This study investigates risk factors associated with VO in patients with infective endocarditis, and 6-month mortality and relapse rates in patients with IE and concomitant VO.
Methods: We performed a observational study in two hospitals between September 2016 and October 2022.
Single-cell technologies have enabled the high-dimensional characterization of cell populations at an unprecedented scale. The innate complexity and increasing volume of data pose significant computational and analytical challenges, especially in comparative studies delineating cellular architectures across various biological conditions (i.e.

This study examines farm-level AMU and AMR as well as the relationship between AMU and AMR on broiler farms in Indonesia. Data were collected from 19 farms in West Java between 2019 and 2021 to examine AMU in depth across four to five successive production cycles.

We employed a simulation model to assess three potential scenarios for introducing CPE: 1) a single import of live animals, 2) the use of contaminated feed, and 3) multiple imports of live animals. Employing the SimInf package, we constructed a population model for broiler production, encompassing rearing farms, multiplier farms, hatcheries, and broiler farms.

Significant research has been undertaken to understand and quantify the burden of a newborn's medical journey on parents' well-being. Simultaneously, an increase has been observed in the development and implementation of telemedicine interventions, defined as the remote delivery of health care.
