Purpose: To investigate image quality and agreement of derived cardiac function parameters in a novel joint image reconstruction and segmentation approach based on disentangled representation learning, enabling real-time cardiac cine imaging during free-breathing.

Methods: A multi-tasking neural network architecture, incorporating disentangled representation learning, was trained using simulated examinations based on data from a public repository along with MR scans specifically acquired for model development. An exploratory feasibility study evaluated the method on undersampled real-time acquisitions using an in-house developed spiral bSSFP pulse sequence in eight healthy participants and five patients with intermittent atrial fibrillation.

Rationale And Objectives: Pulmonary magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) is an imaging method with proven utility for the exclusion of pulmonary embolism and avoids the need for ionizing radiation and iodinated contrast agents. High-relaxivity gadolinium-based contrast agents (GBCAs), such as gadopiclenol, can be used to reduce the required gadolinium dose for pulmonary MRA. The aim of this study was to compare the contrast enhancement performance of gadopiclenol with an established gadobenate dimeglumine-enhanced pulmonary MRA protocol.

Introduction: Prostate cancer guidelines recommend molecular analysis of biomaterial following resistance to first-line systemic therapy in order to identify druggable mutations. We report on our results of molecular analysis of tissue specimens via next generation sequencing (NGS) in men with metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC).

Patients And Methods: In all, 311 mCRPC patients underwent NGS analysis from biopsy samples of progressive metastatic lesions or archival radical prostatectomy specimens.

Rationale And Objectives: Suspicious lesions detected in multiparametric breast MRI can be further analyzed with second-look ultrasound (SLUS) and/or mammography. This study aims to assess the value of second-look imaging in selecting the appropriate biopsy method for different lesion characteristics.

Materials And Methods: Between January 2021 and December 2023, 212 women underwent contrast-enhanced multiparametric breast MRI at 3 Tesla.

Background: The guideline-recommended treatment of choice for clinical stage IIA/B testicular germ cell tumors is chemotherapy with three cycles of PEB/four cycles of PE or, alternatively, radiation for seminomas. Despite their high curative efficacy, both options are associated with significant long-term toxicities. We evaluated the functional and oncological outcomes of primary retroperitoneal lymph node dissection (RPLND) as a therapeutic alternative.
