The presence of a parental mental disorder can lead to adverse outcomes for children. Difficulties in emotion regulation are observed across a range of mental health problems and may play a crucial role in this context. Following PRISMA guidelines, we systematically searched Medline, PsycINFO, Embase, and Web of Science for studies examining the association between emotion regulation in parents with psychopathology at a clinical or subclinical level and their parenting.

Bioreactor-Based Antigen Production Process Using the Baculovirus Expression Vector System.

Several vaccines are already produced using the baculovirus expression vector system (BEVS). This chapter describes methods for generating recombinant baculoviral DNA (also called bacmid) for cultivating Spodoptera frugiperda Sf-9 cells and producing a baculovirus stock from the recombinant bacmid and for producing a protein-based vaccine with the BEVS in a stirred tank reactor.

Turbidimetry and Dielectric Spectroscopy as Process Analytical Technologies for Mammalian and Insect Cell Cultures.

The production of biopharmaceuticals in cell culture involves stringent controls to ensure product safety and quality. To meet these requirements, quality by design principles must be applied during the development of cell culture processes so that quality is built into the product by understanding the manufacturing process. One key aspect is process analytical technology, in which comprehensive online monitoring is used to identify and control critical process parameters that affect critical quality attributes such as the product titer and purity.

Does an Age-Specific Treatment Program Augment the Efficacy of a Cognitive-Behavioral Weight Loss Program in Adolescence and Young Adulthood? Results from a Controlled Study.

Research on weight-loss interventions in emerging adulthood is warranted. Therefore, a cognitive-behavioral group treatment (CBT), including development-specific topics for adolescents and young adults with obesity (YOUTH), was developed. In a controlled study, we compared the efficacy of this age-specific CBT group intervention to an age-unspecific CBT group delivered across ages in an inpatient setting.

Psychometric Properties of Figure Rating Scales in Children: The Impact of Figure Ordering.

This study examined psychometric properties of figure rating scales, particularly the effects of ascending silhouette ordering, in 153 children, 9 to 13 years old. Two versions of Collins's (1991) figural rating scale were presented: the original scale (figures arranged ascendingly) and a modified version (randomized figure ordering). Ratings of current and ideal figure were elicited and body dissatisfaction was calculated.
