Purpose: To determine if individuals chronically (>1 yr) prescribed antihypertensive medications have a normal BP response to peak exercise compared with unmedicated individuals.

Methods: Participants included 2555 adults from the Ball State Adult Fitness Longitudinal Lifestyle STudy cohort who performed a peak treadmill exercise test. Participants were divided into groups by sex and antihypertensive medication status.

Human impacts on wild populations are numerous and extensive, degrading habitats and causing population declines across taxa. Though these impacts are often studied individually, wild populations typically face suites of stressors acting concomitantly, compromising the fitness of individuals and populations in ways poorly understood and not easily predicted by the effects of any single stressor. Developing understanding of the effects of multiple stressors and their potential interactions remains a critical challenge in environmental biology.

Exercise capacity (EC) is an important predictor of survival in the general population and in subjects with cardiopulmonary disease. Despite its relevance, considering the percent-predicted workload (%pWL) given by current equations may overestimate EC in older adults. Therefore, to improve the reporting of EC in clinical practice, our main objective was to develop workload reference equations (pWL) that better reflect the relation between workload and age.

Objective: To test validity of 2D Standardized Way to Assess Grafts (SWAG) ratings to assess 3D outcomes of bone grafting (ABG).

Patients: 43 patients (34 UCLP, 9 BCLP) with non-syndromic complete clefts, bone-grafted at mean age 9yrs/3mos, with available post-graft occlusal radiographs and cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) (taken mean 4yrs/9mos post-ABG).

Main Outcome Measures: 2D occlusal radiographs rated twice using SWAG by 6 calibrated raters.
