Purpose: Low rates of germline genetic testing (GGT) for breast cancer (BC) have been reported globally, with limited data from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). In this study, we used real-world data to assess the GGT rate for BC in an LMIC and identified barriers to its use.
Methods: We analyzed 2,974 newly diagnosed patients with BC from the AMAZONA III study, the largest Brazilian multicenter, prospective BC cohort.
The long-term health consequences following COVID-19 have largely been reported in adult populations living in high-income countries. We therefore did a systematic review of post COVID-19 condition symptoms reported in children and adolescents (<18 years), aiming to identify and include publications from low- or middle-income countries (LMICs). From EMBASE, Medline, and Pubmed until the 30th of October 2023, we searched all studies reporting original and complete data of long-term outcomes of at least 20 children or adolescents under 18 years of age with a history of confirmed acute COVID-19 infection.

Purpose: Estrogen receptor-low (ER-low) breast cancer (BC) present clinicopathological features and disease behavior resembling triple-negative breast cancer, but have been frequently excluded from pivotal trials designed for the latter. Since neoadjuvant pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy (P + CT) is the new standard of care for stage II-III triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), we aimed to access the effectiveness of this therapy for ER-low tumors.
Methods: We evaluated patients with ER-low BC included in the Neo-Real/ GBECAM-0123 study, a real-world data study evaluating patients treated with neoadjuvant P + CT since July 2020 across ten cancer centers.
Introduction: Breast cancer-related lymphedema (BCRL) is a complication that requires lifelong control, with patients taking responsibility for self-care. Mobile applications (apps) can be an effective health education strategy to help manage BCRL by promoting collaborative learning environments in physical therapy. The objective of this study was to design and validate the content for the development of a mobile application for self-care in the health of the BCRL.

In Indonesia, RV is responsible for 60 % of severe AGE and 40 % of non-severe AGE in these children. This study assessed the cost-effectiveness of introduction of rotavirus vaccines (RVV) into the National Immunization Program in Indonesia.
