Soil conditioners to fertilize, improve soil structure and support the phytostabilization of trace metal elements (TMEs) are being used more and more frequently. One of the options are agrosinters - slow-release ceramic fertilizers consisting mainly of SiO, CaO, PO and KO, with an alkaline pH and high impact strength. The effect of two different agrosinters, A1 and A2, on the growth and physiological condition of Brassica napus grown in uncontaminated and Pb-, Cd- and Zn-contaminated soil was investigated in a pot experiment.

Similarly to other vision-based detection methods, one of the drawbacks of HSI is its susceptibility to the lighting conditions during the imaging, which is a serious issue for gathering hyperspectral data in real-life scenarios. In this study, a data conditioning procedure is proposed for improving the results of damage detection with various classifiers.

The aim of this work was to investigate the distribution of β-glucosidase (GLU), nitrate reductase (NR), urease (UR), phosphatase (PHA), dehydrogenase (DHA) and catalase (CAT) activity through 14 trunked soil profiles of the Luvisols formed from a glacial till. The content of microbial biomass carbon (MBC) as well as physicochemical properties such as organic carbon (C), total nitrogen (N), available P, K and Mg, soil density and porosity, pH in KCl and fractional composition were also studied.

The prevailing AD hypothesis points to the central role of altered cleavage of amyloid precursor protein (APP) and formation of toxic amyloid-β (Aβ) deposits in the brain. The lack of efficient AD treatments stems from incomplete knowledge on AD causes and environmental risk factors.
