Which different feelings and reactions do different family members show if an adult family member who has long been perceived as heterosexual discloses their sexual identity as lesbian, gay, or bisexual (LGB)? Previous studies have investigated reactions of spouses and sometimes children in the United States. This article describes the findings of qualitative interviews and a German-language quantitative survey ( = 188) in which family members were asked about their emotions, experiences during the coming out process, and their use of support options. Background: In patients with primary vulvar cancer and bilateral sentinel lymph node (SLN) biopsy, bilateral complete inguino-femoral lymphadenectomy (LAE) is recommended, even in cases with only unilaterally positive SLN by most guidelines. The risk of contralateral non-SLN metastasis is unclear.

Methods: All patients with primary vulvar cancer receiving an SLN dissection with radioactive tracer ± blue dye at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf between 2001 and 2013 were retrospectively evaluated.

The Association of Community Health Nursing Educators (ACHNE) has developed a number of documents designed to delineate the scope and function of community/public health nursing (C/PHN) educators, researchers, and practitioners. Consistent with the mission of ACHNE, this position paper entitled Academic Faculty Qualifications for Community/Public Health Nursing has been developed by the Faculty Qualifications Task Force. The shortage of qualified nursing faculty has been well documented.
