Common mental disorders in Brazilian female shift workers: prevalence and associated factors.

This study aimed to identify the prevalence of common mental disorders (CMD) and associated factors in female shift workers. A cross-sectional study was conducted with a sample of 450 female workers, aged 18 years or older (± 36.1 years), from an industry located in Southern Brazil.

Background: A popular antiseptic spray in Switzerland (Merfen spray), containing chlorhexidine digluconate, benzoxonium chloride and lauramine oxide, is frequently used to treat skin wounds. However, it is also increasingly reported as a major cause of adverse skin reactions, including allergic contact dermatitis (ACD).

Objectives: To investigate the contact allergens responsible for ACD from this antiseptic.

Therefore the current study aimed to determine the pattern and predictors of Pharmacophilia and pharmacophobia in Saudi Arabia.

Patient satisfaction with pharmaceutical care services for chronic diseases and their medication adherence during COVID-19 in Saudi Arabia.

Objectives: During the ongoing coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, chronic disease management and medication adherence have become challenging; thus, health-related quality of life may have been compromised. As highly trusted healthcare providers, pharmacies in Saudi Arabia have undergone restructuring or redesign to cope with the current demands during the pandemic. The study assessed satisfaction levels of patients with chronic diseases concerning pharmaceutical care services provided during COVID-19 in addition to medication adherence and quality of life during the pandemic.
