High lithium (Li) and cesium (Cs) concentrations in the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau thermal springs pose environmental and health challenges, but their origins and enrichment mechanisms remain unclear. This study focuses on the Sogdoi geothermal field, located along the southern Karakoram Fault, to investigate these processes. Multi-isotope analyses (H, O, Li, Sr) reveal that Li and Cs predominantly originate from the host rocks, especially granitoids and meta-sedimentary rocks, rather than from magmatic fluids.

The prevalence of these complex and highly unstable meniscal tears increases exponentially with the severity of the injury. The posteromedial capsule (PMC) has often been disregarded in the past when discussing ligamentous and meniscal injuries, but the recent interest in ramp lesions has drawn surgeons' attention to the posteromedial structures of the ACL injured knee.

Currently, repairs are performed via a trans-notch view, combined with a single posteromedial working portal. This technique, however, does not allow for a direct and complete visualization of the structures being injured, making a precise appreciation of the injured structures, as well as an anatomical repair, difficult.

Methods: Data from 69 patients (43 males/26 females, median age 27-percentile 25-75: 20-37), were retrospectively extracted from their medical records. All had a primary or secondary ACL deficiency as confirmed by MRI and clinical examination, with a bilateral weightbearing radiograph of the knees at 15°-20° flexion available.
Purpose: Surrogacy remains the only option for having a biologic child for a unique population of women with severe medical conditions. However, no study has looked at surrogacy outcome as a result of the type of ovarian stimulation of the intended mother [controlled ovarian stimulation (COH), modified natural cycle (MNC), and in vitro maturation (IVM)] for oocyte retrieval.
Methods: This is a retrospective study, including all intended mothers and gestational carriers in a tertiary, university affiliated, medical center, from 1998 to 2016.
