Functional oxides and hybrid structures with interfacial spin-orbit coupling and the Rashba-Edelstein effect (REE) are promising materials systems for thermal tolerance spintronic device applications. Here, we demonstrate efficient spin-to-charge conversion through enhanced interfacial spin-orbit coupling at the all-oxide interface of LaCaMnO with quasi-two-dimensional (quasi-2D) SrTiO (LCMO/STO). The quasi-2D interface is generated via oxygen vacancies at the STO surface.

The considerable time and cost of training transformer models has motivated development of alternative approaches inspired by ideas from the signal-processing literature, such as state-space models (Mamba), Fourier transforms (Hyena), and wavelet transforms (MultiResNet). To evaluate these methods as potential replacements (or complements) for attention, we developed a software library bilby, implemented using Python and Jax/Flax, providing convolutional, attention, bidirectional Hyena, bidirectional Mamba, and striped-architecture models for supervised multi-task learning in functional genomics.

It has an extensive host range, including birds and humans, making it one of the most adaptable serovars. This study aims to define the virulence gene profile of Enteritidis and identify genes critical to its host specificity.

However, left atrial mechanics are understudied in youth with CKD. The objective of this study was to assess left atrial strain function in youth with CKD and similarly aged, healthy controls.

However, few studies have evaluated real-world strategies and resulting implementation outcomes of PRO dashboards.
Method: From June 2020 to January 2022, we implemented an electronic health record (EHR)-integrated PRO dashboard for advanced cancer and chronic kidney disease.
