Marek's Disease (MD), which can result in neurological damage and tumour formation, has large effects on the economy and animal welfare of the poultry industry worldwide. Previously, we mapped autosomal MD QTL regions (QTLRs) by individual genotyping of an F population from a full-sib advanced intercross line. We further mapped MD QTLRs on the chicken Z chromosome (GGZ) using the same F population, and by selective DNA pooling (SDP) of 8 elite egg production lines.

To systematically understand and investigate this phenomenon in electrolytes requires a theory of concentrated electrolytes to describe charge-charge correlations beyond the DH theory. We review the theories of electrolytes that can transition from the DH limit to concentrations where charge correlations dominate, giving rise to underscreening and the associated Kirkwood Transitions (KTs).

The natural history of AM diagnosed on cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (cMRI) may be different to historic cohorts due to the detection of milder disease. This study aims to measure the outcome of patients with AM detected by cMRI.

[Am]=[tBuC(NDipp)]) to form (NON)Al-E(Am) Lewis pairs with unsupported Al-E bonds, including the first structurally authenticated Al-Pb bond. Analysis using spectroscopic (NMR, UV-vis and Mössbauer for E=Sn), X-ray diffraction and computational (DFT, QTAIM, TD-DFT) methods conclude an Al-E σ-bond derived from a Lewis basic Al and a Lewis acidic tetrylene, with back-donation from the E s-orbital lone pair donor NBO to acceptor NBOs on Al that are derived from s/p-orbitals.
