Diarrheal disease is the second leading cause of death among children under five in developing communities, despite active interventions to improve access to water, sanitation, and hygiene resources. Even interventions with high fidelity and compliance saw minimal improvements in health outcomes, necessitating a need for looking beyond traditionally targeted exposure pathways. This study focuses on the pathogen exposure a young child may receive while playing in the public spaces of informal settlements, where animal feces, human feces, and garbage are frequently observed.

Methods: We leverage almost three years of available data across 38 European countries to evaluate the effectiveness of governmental responses in controlling the pandemic.
Despite screening programmes, numerous clinical studies and new breast imaging techniques, breast cancer incidence for women continues to rise. The arrival of predictive and personalized medicine could clearly redefine our screening recommendations. One promising approach to improving screening would be to use tools to predict the risk of developing breast cancer, including polygenic risk scores (PRS).

Detection at an early stage, frequently allows women to benefit from breast conserving surgery. Methods: We used data from 12 701 respondents participating in a Belgian survey in 2022. Correlation coefficients between GHQ-12 and EQ-5D-5L were calculated at both the aggregate and item levels.
