Focal intranasal drug delivery to the olfactory cleft is a promising avenue for pharmaceuticals targeting the brain. However, traditional nasal sprays often fail to deliver enough medication to this specific area. We present a laminar fluid ejection (LFE) method for precise delivery of medications to the olfactory cleft.

Under physiological conditions, TDP-43 and FUS are predominantly localized in the nucleus, where they participate in transcriptional regulation, RNA splicing and metabolism. In disease, however, they are typically mislocalized to the cytoplasm where they form aggregated inclusions.

Self-compassion-a construct that consists of self-kindness, acknowledgment of common humanity, and mindfulness-is associated with numerous positive outcomes including indicators of mental well-being. However, little research exists exploring the mechanism(s) by which self-compassion operates to influence these outcomes. It is possible that self-concept clarity, or the extent to which one's self-beliefs are clearly defined and stable, acts as such a mechanism.
