Residential versus day program treatment for eating disorders: A comparison of post-treatment outcomes and predictors.

This updated meta-synthesis explores further dimensions of the lived experience of severe and enduring anorexia nervosa (SE-AN) since recent contention regarding proposed "terminal anorexia nervosa (T-AN)". The paper aims to update the original synthesis and to situate participant responses to the category of "T-AN". Thus, extending the proposed conceptualization of the SE-AN experience.

We examine Spelke's core knowledge taxonomy and test its boundaries. We ask whether Spelke's core knowledge is a distinct of cognition in the sense that the cognitive processes it includes and excludes are biologically and mechanically coherent.

Family adjustment and resilience after a parental cancer diagnosis.

Purpose: To explore the resources, parents with cancer and their partners draw upon to sustain their family resilience through the cancer experience.

Methods: Fifteen participants who were parents of children aged 8 to 25 years completed phone, audio-recorded, and semi-structured interviews. Of these participants, 11 were parents diagnosed with cancer, and four were partners of a parent diagnosed with cancer.
