Study Objective: To determine whether laparoscopic surgery by sacrocolpopexy or sacrocervicopexy with posterior mesh attachment to levator ani to treat pelvic organ prolapse reduces the levator hiatus area, as measured by transperineal 3- and 4-dimensional ultrasound. The secondary objective was to assess the risk factors for prolapse recurrence.

Objective: To assess the impact of ultrasound-guided high-intensity focused ultrasound (USgHIFU) ablation for uterine fibroids on fertility.

Material And Methods: A retrospective observational study was conducted of 560 reproductive-age women with symptomatic uterine fibroids who underwent USgHIFU therapy at Mútua Terrassa University Hospital, Spain, between February 2008 and February 2018. We analyzed pregnancy outcomes including time to conception, pregnancy approach, gestational age, delivery mode, neonatal outcomes and complications during pregnancy and delivery.

Objectives: The present study evaluates the impact of vaginal surgery for pelvic organ prolapse (POP) on voiding dysfunction (VD) symptoms and post-void residual (PVR) one year after the intervention.

Purpose: The objective is to determine the prevalence of levator ani muscle (LAM) avulsion using four-dimensional ultrasound in primiparous women after vaginal delivery and according to delivery mode.

Methods: This prospective, multicenter study included 322 women evaluated at 6-12 months postpartum by four-dimensional transperineal ultrasound to identify levator ani muscle avulsion. The researcher who performed the ultrasound was blinded to all clinical data.

Objective: To compare the sensitivity and specificity of two- (2D) and three- (3D) dimensional transperineal ultrasound (TPUS) and 3D endovaginal ultrasound (EVUS) with the gold standard 3D endoanal ultrasound (EAUS) in detecting residual defects after primary repair of obstetric anal sphincter injuries (OASIS).

Methods: External (EAS) and internal (IAS) anal sphincters were evaluated by the four ultrasound modalities in women with repaired OASIS. 2D-TPUS was evaluated in real-time, whereas 3D-TPUS, 3D-EVUS and 3D-EAUS volumes were evaluated offline by six blinded readers.
