Introduction: Infertility is a complex condition that affects millions worldwide, with significant physical, emotional and social implications. Mobile apps have emerged as potential tools to assist in the management of infertility by offering features such as menstrual cycle tracking, ovulation prediction, fertility education, lifestyle modification guidance and emotional support, thereby promoting reproductive health. Despite promising advancements such as the development of apps with sophisticated algorithms for ovulation prediction and comprehensive platforms offering integrated fertility education and emotional support, there remain gaps in the literature regarding the comprehensive evaluation of mobile apps for reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

Exposure and response prevention (ERP) is an effective treatment for obsessive-compulsive disorder. However, ERP's distressful nature may be too demanding for some patients, resulting in low engagement with treatment or even dropout. The current review aimed to summarize and categorize the components of ERP plus add-on protocols.

Objective: Post-stroke depression (PSD) affects approximately 40% of stroke survivors, with cognitive deficits being frequently observed. Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) has shown promise in improving cognitive performance in stroke patients. We explored the effects of tDCS on cognitive performance in PSD.

Development and characterization of pectin films containing nanoemulsions of the essential oil from Thymus vulgaris for preserving salami.

Emulsions were prepared from T. vulgaris essential oil using the surfactants Pluronic F127 and Tween 80 by mechanical agitation (Emulsion_Tw and Emulsion_Pl) and sonication using an ultrasonic tip (Sonicated_emulsion_Tw and Sonicated_emulsion_Pl). These emulsions were incorporated into pectin films.

Evaluating the Effects of Compound Stimuli on Stimulus Control during Match-to-Sample Procedures.

The use of compound stimuli in match-to-sample training arrangements can potentially increase the efficiency of target acquisition in some circumstances as a result of the development of emergent relations. However, utilizing compound stimuli in training arrangements comes with the risk that responding could come under the restrictive control of one of the individual components of the compound stimulus. The purpose of this case study was to demonstrate an evaluation process for determining the impact of compound stimuli on stimulus control within a match-to-sample arrangement.
