In this study, the chemical composition, physico-chemical properties and antioxidant activities of leatherwood honey from different locations with different climate across Tasmania were compared. Concentrations of 14 volatiles in the GC-MS profiles, 9 volatiles in the GC-FID profiles and 29 phenolic compounds in the HPLC-DAD/MS profiles along with pH, electrical conductivity, colour, hydrogen peroxide accumulation and antioxidant activity differed significantly between South and North samples. Correlations were found between beehive elevation and four unknown compounds U226 (R = 0.

Objective: The study objective was to examine whether nursing-sensitive indicators, which measure changes in patient health status directly affected by nursing care, differ in hospitals where Black patients predominantly access their care, as compared to other hospitals.
Methods: To fulfill the objective, a cross-sectional design using publicly available 2019 to 2022 Hospital Compare and 2019 Medicare Provider Analysis and Review (MEDPAR) and Case Mix Index file databases was used.
Bacteria are rich sources of pharmaceutically valuable natural products, many crafted by modular polyketide synthases (PKS) and non-ribosomal peptide synthetases (NRPS). PKS and NRPS systems typically contain a thioesterase (TE) to offload a linear or cyclized product from a carrier protein, but alternative chemistry is needed for products with a terminal amide. Several pathways with amidated products also possess an uncharacterized 400-amino acid terminal domain.
