Objectives: The study provides a thorough examination of the rhizomes of Roxb., which is a medicinal substance sometimes referred to as black turmeric and has not been well studied.

Methods: The study examines the pharmacognostical characteristics, GC-MS profiling, and elemental analysis of the substance to determine its potential for use in medicine.

Prevalence of FRAX risk factors and the osteoporosis treatment gap among women ≥ 70 years of age in routine primary care across 8 countries in Europe.

Unlabelled: We studied whether elderly women at risk for fractures receive primary care treatment to prevent fracture. We found that across Europe, women at risk are often not identified, and less than half of such women receive appropriate treatment. Finally, women diagnosed with osteoporosis are much more likely to receive treatment.

Prediction of Recurrence Risk in Solid Pseudopapillary Neoplasm of the Pancreas: Single-Institution Experience.

Background: Solid pseudopapillary neoplasm (SPN) of the pancreas is a low-grade malignant neoplasm with unpredictable behavior. Factors associated with recurrence were not conclusively identified. The aim of this study is to define the clinicopathological criteria for recurrence risk prediction in SPNs based on the most recent scientific evidence and to present our experience with SPNs.

In the last few years, the interest shifted to works focused on the novel drug delivery methods for small and large molecular drug carriers utilizing particulate drug delivery systems as well. It is evident from the last decade as observed in increased number of patents in this field that the technology has evolved tremendously.
