Background The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently updated its split/shared policy but delayed enforcing sole time-based billing methodology in 2023 after industry pushback. However, the new time-based requirement is set for 2024. Yet, there is no published literature addressing perceived organizational impacts associated with new split/shared rules.

The route taken by Env to reach the site of assembly and particle incorporation remains incompletely understood. Following initial delivery to the PM through the secretory pathway, Env is rapidly endocytosed, suggesting that recycling is required for particle incorporation.

February 2023
A Cold Atmospheric Plasma (CAP) apparatus was designed and developed for SARS-CoV-2 killing as evaluated by pseudotyped viral infectivity assays. The reactive species generated by the plasma system was fully characterized by using Optical Emission Spectroscopy (OES) measurement under given conditions such as plasma power, flow rate, and treatment time. A variety of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and reactive nitrogen species (RNS) were identified from plasma plume with energies of 15-72 eV in the frequency range between 500-1000 nm.

Countries such as Europe have 30+ UV filters approved for sunscreen products while the US has about 10, greatly reducing the options to provide diverse, effective sun protection products. Bemotrizinol (BEMT) is the first new sunscreen active ingredient to be evaluated for inclusion in the Over-The-Counter (OTC) sunscreen monograph using FDA's new Generally Recognized as Safe and Effective (GRASE) testing guidelines.

AXEAP is designed to convert a 2D XES image into an XES spectrum in real time using both calculations and unsupervised machine learning. AXEAP is capable of making this transformation at a rate similar to data collection, allowing real-time comparisons during data collection, reducing the amount of data stored from gigabyte-sized image files to kilobyte-sized text files.
