Characteristics of hospital pharmacist interventions and their clinical, economic and organizational impacts: a five-year observational study on the French National Observatory.

Background: Since 2006, French hospital pharmacists have been able to document their interventions in the National Observatory Act-IP© and, since 2016, to assess the potential clinical, economic and organizational impacts of pharmacist interventions (PIs) via the CLEO© tool.

Aim: To describe pharmacist interventions in French hospitals from 2017 to 2021 and to evaluate their potential impacts using the CLEO© tool.

Method: The study was conducted to examine PIs documented in the Act-IP© Observatory.

Stereotypes of White and East Asian Women and Men with Branched Attractions.

People with branched attractions may experience sexual and romantic attractions to different genders; for example, they may be sexually attracted to one gender and romantically attracted to another gender. Because branched attractions may violate folk theories about sexuality, we expected individuals with these attractions to face unique stereotypes. Across three preregistered experiments (total N = 1041), and using predominantly White, non-Latiné, and straight samples, we asked if White (Studies 1 and 2) and East Asian (Study 3) targets with branched attractions are seen as: (1) confused, dishonest, and non-monogamous (bi stereotypes), (2) uncertain about and in denial of their sexuality (instability stereotypes), and (3) desired as sexual objects (fetishized), compared to targets with aligned (same-gender, other-gender, bisexual) attractions.

Gender Identity and Aggression.

Gender identity, or people's deeply felt, internal sense of their gender, plays an important role in aggression perpetration and victimization. In this article, I review and organize the psychological research literatures on gender identity-based aggression. I first discuss the need to move beyond binary, cisgender understandings of gender by embracing expansive definitions that more fully capture people's experiences and identities.

Vascular Stress Markers Following Inhalation of Heated Tobacco Products: A Study on Extracellular Vesicles.

The advent of heated tobacco products (HTPs) has introduced new variables in the study of nicotine delivery systems and their health implications. Amidst concerns over cardiovascular effects, this study aims to elucidate the acute impact of HTP inhalation on extracellular vesicles (EV) levels in young, healthy individuals. In this controlled, acute exposure study, 23 young, healthy volunteers were subjected to HTP inhalation.
