Objective: To use a standardised reporting tool to identify potential eligible candidates for cochlear implant (CI) referral and quantify the proportion of adults who had a CI referral discussion after presenting with an audiogram within United Kingdom (UK) audiometric criteria.

Design: Retrospective multicentre 6-month audit of Audiology clinic databases.

Study Sample: A total of 810 adults from five geographically diverse UK Audiology sites.

Interventions to improve the implementation of evidence-based healthcare in prisons: a scoping review.

Background: There are challenges to delivering high quality primary care within prison settings and well-recognised gaps between evidence and practice. There is a growing body of literature evaluating interventions to implement evidence-based practice in the general population, yet the extent and rigour of such evaluations in incarcerated populations are unknown. We therefore conducted a scoping literature review to identify and describe evaluations of implementation interventions in the prison setting.

Cochlear implant eligibility in an adult hearing aid population: a multi-perspective service evaluation of a patient referral pathway at a British district general hospital.

Objectives: To quantify patient eligibility for cochlear implantation following National Institute for Health and Care Excellence 2019 guidelines (TA566) over five years at our institution, and identify factors influencing patients' decisions surrounding cochlear implantation referral.

Methods: A multi-perspective service evaluation was conducted at a district general hospital, comprising cochlear implantation eligible patients. The main outcome measures were: eligibility numbers for 2014-2019, comparing application of TA566 versus 2009 (TA166) guidelines; and patient interview transcripts and questionnaires.

The epidemiology of hospital inpatient exposure to SARS-CoV-2: A cohort study.

Background: Exposure to SARS-CoV-2 was widespread in hospitals during 2020. The risk of infection after in-hospital exposure has not yet been quantified and effective strategies to prevent it remain unclear.

Methods: All incidences of patient-to-patient exposure to SARS-CoV-2 on non-COVID wards between October and December 2020 at a UK hospital trust were identified.
