Leiomyosarcoma (LMS) of inferior vena cava is a rare and aggressive tumor, arising from the smooth muscle cells in the vessel wall. A large complete surgical resection is the essential treatment. The need of vascular reconstruction is not always mandatory.

Material And Methods: [corrected] 100 patients treated in Salah Azaiez Institute from January 2005 to December 2006, who underwent surgical biopsy for breast microcalcifications The diagnosis was based on mammography associated in 60% of the cases, to ultra-sonography. We correlated biopsies results to ACR classification.

The management of ovarian tumors discovered during laparoscopy depends equally on the surgeon and the pathologist. Thus, the surgeon will undergo a more or less radical surgery depending on frozen section analysis (FSA),which depends mainly on the pathologist's skills, the histopathologic type and the volume and the localization of the tumor. The accuracy of FSA is higher in ovarian cancer than in borderline tumor.
