Efgartigimod is a human IgG1 antibody Fc-fragment that lowers IgG levels through blockade of the neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn) and is being evaluated for the treatment of patients with severe autoimmune diseases mediated by pathogenic IgG autoantibodies. Engineered for increased FcRn affinity at both acidic and physiological pH, efgartigimod can outcompete endogenous IgG binding, preventing FcRn-mediated recycling of IgGs and resulting in increased lysosomal degradation. A population pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic (PKPD) model including FcRn binding was developed based on data from two healthy volunteer studies after single and repeated administration of efgartigimod.

Unlabelled: Football is one of the most played sports in the world and kicking with adequate accuracy increases the likelihood of winning a competition. Although studies with different target-directed movements underline the role of distinctive cortical activity on superior accuracy, little is known about cortical dynamics associated with kicking. Mobile electroencephalography is a popular tool to investigate cortical modulations during movement, however, inherent and artefact-related pitfalls may obscure the reliability of functional sources and their activity.

Purpose: Exergames can be used to train physical and cognitive abilities and have been shown to be effective in reducing the risk of falls in older adults. However, there is limited evidence about how people play exergames and how gameplay is affected by game settings and, thus, the potential training effects. The aim of this study was to investigate the impact of repeated exergaming sessions over 4 weeks and two game settings (difficulty level and game speed) on gameplay (performance, physical activity and perceived exertion) in older adults over a four-week exergaming intervention.

The present study aims to develop and present a proof-of-concept for a stop signal task with effector-specificity and higher complexity. Sixteen participants performed a stop signal task developed for lower extremities using Fitlight System™. The effect of four different delays and two sessions on response time, stop signal reaction time and accuracy was assessed using two-way repeated-measures ANOVA.
