Background: We present a case report of a 67-year-old male with dextrocardia situs inversus totalis and persistent atrial fibrillation who presented for radiofrequency pulmonary vein isolation.
Methods: Pulmonary vein isolation was performed using the St Jude Medical Ensite NavX 3D mapping system with AccuNav ICE guidance.
Results: All pulmonary veins were successfully isolated.
A urographic pattern of renal clubbing and scarring was found in 182 scarred kidneys of 110 adult patients. Homolateral vesicoureteric reflux was demonstrated by reliable techniques in 90/135 scarred kidneys. Urinary tract infections occurred in 75 patients.
