Shock wave boundary/layer interactions (SWBLIs) are critical in high-speed aerodynamic flows, particularly within supersonic regimes, where unsteady dynamics can induce structural fatigue and degrade vehicle performance. Conventional measurement techniques, such as pressure-sensitive paint (PSP), face limitations in frequency response, calibration complexity, and intrusive instrumentation. Luminescence Properties of M(AlCl):Yb (M = Ca, Sr, Ba): Ideal Materials for the Investigation of Structure-Luminescence Relationships.

In this work, the chloride system M(AlCl) (M = Ca, Sr, Ba) doped with Yb is investigated in greater detail. The influence of the [AlCl] ion on the position of the emission band of Yb is investigated and the emission spectra are recorded. The emission spectra of the Yb-doped materials are characterized by broad 4f5d (HS) ↔ 4f transitions with maxima in the range between 416 nm (Ca) and 421 nm (Ba) (24,061-23,738 cm), whereas the Ba compound features an additional 4f5d (LS) ↔ 4f emission band at 397 nm (25,203 cm) at lower temperatures.

Changing Treatment and Metastatic Disease Patterns in Patients with EGFR Mutated NSCLC: An Academic Thoracic Medical Investigator's Consortium Registry Analysis.

Introduction: Osimertinib is now a standard first-line (1L) therapy for EGFR-mutated (EGFRm) advanced NSCLC. We aimed to characterize patterns of therapy and longitudinal risk of brain and liver metastasis in a cohort of EGFRm NSCLC.

Methods: Patients with metastatic EGFRm NSCLC who received 1L systemic therapy at sites within the Academic Thoracic Medical Investigator's Consortium were included; demographic and clinical data including treatment patterns were described.
