Cannabis consumption among aging adults in Canada is increasing. The aims of the study were to examine cannabis consumption patterns before and after non-medical cannabis legalization and assess whether these patterns differ between men and women. Data were analyzed from Canadian respondents in a repeat cross-sectional survey conducted in 2018-2021.

Genetic alterations are the cornerstone of risk stratification in B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia (BCP-ALL), and their accurate identification is critical for optimal treatment. Most cases with ABL-class fusion are classified as high-risk yet display good responses to tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs). Current clinical protocols recommend adding a TKI to chemotherapy as soon as possible, making it mandatory to rapidly identify these alterations.

Direct Measurement of a sin(2φ) Current Phase Relation in a Graphene Superconducting Quantum Interference Device.

In a Josephson junction, the current phase relation relates the phase variation of the superconducting order parameter φ, between the two superconducting leads connected through a weak link, to the dissipationless current. This relation is the fingerprint of the junction. It is usually dominated by a sin(φ) harmonic, however, its precise knowledge is necessary to design superconducting quantum circuits with tailored properties.

As a growing part of the world population is suffering from pollen-induced allergies, increasing the number of pollen monitoring stations and developing new dedicated measurement networks has become a necessity. To this purpose, Beenose, a new automatic and relatively low-cost sensor, was developed to characterize and quantify the pollinic content of the air using multiangle light scattering. A field campaign was conducted at four locations around Brussels, Belgium, during summer 2022 and winter-spring 2023.

The PRAMOS Study: PRostaglandin Analogues Monotherapy-Awareness Survey on Ocular Surface Involvement.

Introduction: Even though the local tolerance of prostaglandin (PG) analogues has improved drastically since the introduction of preservative-free (PF) eye drops, prescription patterns still vary widely among practitioners and between countries and could have an impact on the ocular surface of treated patients and, in consequence, their adherence. The aim of this study is to explore the prescribing patterns of PG analogues monotherapy in France and to evaluate their impact on ocular surface status.

Methods: This was a national multicenter cross-sectional observational study that was conducted by 18 glaucoma experts in France.
